Morneau to Miss Rest of MLB Season

The Minnesota Twins’ diminishing playoff hopes took another hit this week when it was announced that All-Star 1st baseman Justin Morneau will be sidelined the rest of the year.

Morneau has been dealing with back pain for weeks, but a CT scan as well as an MRI on Monday acknowledged that he has a crack in his lower back.
